The Executive Secretaries of the OSPAR Commission and the Sargasso Sea Commission (SSC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strengthened collaboration.

OSPAR's Arctic Outcomes Working Group (AOWG) met on 30 September and 1 October 2024 in Nuuk, Greenland. The meeting was convened by Sara Viljanen (Finland) and Oliver Ó Cadhla (Ireland).
