Cumulative effects assessment
Report by Co-convenor, Dr Adrian Judd (United Kingdom): -EcoC workshop brought together representatives from some of OSPAR’s committees to progress the cumulative effects assessment work for the Ecosystem Assessment Outlook component of the Quality Status Report 2023. The methodology applies risk assessment principles to the ecosystem approach in the assessment and management of human activities in the North-East Atlantic.

Offshore Industry Committee 2019
Report by Saravan Marappan (Chair of OIC): The annual meeting of the Offshore Industry Committee met in Aberdeen in March where they discussed progress against the 2018-2019 Work Programme, concluded the review of progress made over the last ten years under the current North East Atlantic Environmental Strategy (NEAES 2010-2020) and developed objectives to be addressed under the new strategy for 2020-2030.
