EcApRHA second benthic habitat workshop

A second EcApRHA WP2 benthic habitat workshop took place in Spain (Instituto Español de Oceanografía, Santander) 27 - 29 June 2016. During this workshop 16 participants from the EcApRHA project, ICES, ActionMed and BalticBOOST participated. Work over the course of the three day workshop focused on:

• Updates on benthic habitat indicator BH1to BH4, including case study testing.
• Information exchange on how to forward benthic habitat indicators.
• Developing a method to integrate benthic habitat indicator assessment.
• Parallel project developments from ICES working group and benthic assessment work being developed within ActionMed and BalticBOOST.
• Work plans to forward deliverables under WP4 (Ecosystem’s perspective).

The next EcApRHA workshop will take place 12 – 15 September where all EcApRHA partners will join in London to forward work under WP4 and finalise deliverables within their own work packages.
