OSPAR and the Senior Arctic Official meeting Finland

The OSPAR Secretariat attended the second Senior Arctic Officials meeting held during the Chairmanship of Finland (2017-2019) in Levi, Finland. The meeting discussed the outcome of the Arctic Council Working Groups and the priorities of the Chairmanship of Finland are environmental protection, connectivity, meteorological cooperation, and education.

Following the 10th Arctic Council Ministerial meeting in Fairbanks, Alaska in May 2017, OSPAR was one of seven new Observers admitted by Ministers.
