Senior Arctic Officials meeting

The Secretariat participated in the Senior Arctic Officials meeting in Oulu, 25-26 October 2017. The focus of the SAO meeting was update from the Task Force on Arctic Marine Cooperation (TFAMC) and on Improved Connectivity in the Arctic (TFICA), as well as progress reports from the Working Groups and specific updates on the Expert Group on Black Carbon and Methane. A special observer session gave new observers including OSPAR the possibility to give a statement on how the Convention could complement the Arctic Council's work.
