Water and Marine Directors meeting

The meeting of Water and Marine Directors of the European Union, candidate and European Free Trade Association countries, was hosted by the Estonian Presidency of the EU in Tallinn, on the 4/5 December 2017. It was attended by the OSPAR Executive Secretary as well as some Contracting Parties to OSPAR in their EU Member States capacity. The implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive of the European Union being of utmost relevance to OSPAR’s Contracting Parties that are also EU Member States, OSPAR Secretariat attended the meeting as an observer.
